Sam Winter's book and ideas that we have a power to heal with our hands using energy fields in the body was a quick read. This practice, if it worked would make the need for surgery and healthcare obsolete and unnecessary. I am a skeptic of this technique of applying "god" (the christian god) and hand positions to cure any condition. I think until we let go of mysticism and the idea that "god" heals we as a culture will not advance to higher levels of critical thinking and science advancements.
It is dangerous to spend time focusing on this type of psuedo-science faith healing rather than pursuing medical intervention for a health crisis.
I am troubled that "god" would get the credit for healing but not get accused of "allowing" the trauma or disease in the first place. God is often credited with "healing" when modern day medical intervention was responsible for the health or surgical improvement.
Provable science is going to advance health. It always feels good for someone to care and pay attention to an ailment, but it can be dangerous if it is put forth as false hope. I think this book offers the reader false hope in an untested therapy that is not grounded in provable science.
After reading the book, I was amazed at how simple the author was able to relate such a seemingly complicated theory. After trying some of the techniques myself, I am thrilled to find healing at my fingertips.
Being a Reiki healer I found this book very helpful. The book gives the reader a clear insight to magnet therapy. It is very informative, well explained and easy to understand
An excellent, quick read. Details a little bit of the science behind energy healing with practical application of how to get started. I am a Reiki practitioner and ths is the book that got me started on this journey! The book is written from a Christian perspective and I am Christian myself, but energy healing works for all.
Wow what an amazing book. I always wanted to learn about hands on healing. This book made it easy to understand and learn. If you have any interest in learning about the natural ability in all of us, read this book.
